My heart is a sanctuary of love and peace.
I listen for the guidance of Spirit, and I am gently guided to my good.
I am radiantly and vitally alive.
Attuned to divine ideas, I am abundantly prospered.
I express divine love and understanding to all.
I see myself established in love. Love rules supreme in my world.

Unity Church of Rochester is an idea in God Mind. The powerful prospering activity of God fulfills its every need.
Basic Unity Principles
- God is all good and active in everything, everywhere. This is reflected in Unity's statement, "There is only one Presence and one Power in all the universe -- God, the good, omnipotent," and the affirmation, "There is no spot where God is not."
- I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.
- I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
- Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
- I do and give my best by living the truth I know. I make a difference.
Unity Denials and Affirmations
Below, we have listed some examples of denials and affirmations that are commonly used in Unity.
There is no evil in Truth.
Pain, sickness, poverty, old age, and death cannot master me, for they are not real.
There is nothing in all the universe for me to fear, for greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world.
This (condition) has no power over me.
Denials create a vacuum in consciousness that needs to be filled with positive thoughts and feelings. It is important that we follow a denial with an affirmation, such as:
Mighty currents of God's healing love flow through me now, making me whole and free.
I know what to do, and I do it.
I am centered and poised in the Christ Spirit and nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.
I am a radiating center of divine love, mighty to attract my good and to radiate good to others.
I am a spiritual being, living in a spiritual universe, governed by spiritual law.
I am spirit, perfect, holy, harmonious.
I behold the Christ in you.
God supplies me with time enough, wisdom enough, strength enough, and energy enough to do whatever is before me this day.
I am a rich child of a loving Father Mother God, and I dare to prosper now.
God is my help in every need.
I am now in the Presence of Pure Being.
God is in charge.
I am one with the all-knowing mind of Christ: I know, I remember, I understand, I express myself perfectly.
I go to meet my good. I expect the good. I accept the good.
I love life and life loves to express itself through me.
I am open and receptive to God's living Spirit of Truth.
The Universe is Calling by Eric Butterworth
Eric Butterworth addresses the growing need for understanding and clarity regarding the function and nature of prayer. Butterworth asserts that our fundamental concept of God must change before we can experience true connection with the Divine. He outlines the Principles on how to accomplish this in "The Universe is Calling."
Lessons in Truth by H. Emilie Cady
"Lessons in Truth" along with The Bible are Unity's basic testbooks. This is a clear and concise representation of New Thought philosophy and metaphysical Christianity. Mrs. Cady teaches that our lives can be transformed by the power of our thoughts, words, and beliefs and shows us how to apply these ideas to our life experience.
The Twelve Powers of Man by Charles Fillmore
When Charles Fillmore studied the life, teachings, death, and Resurrection of Jesus he discovered twelve powers, that when developed, can lead to a life of joy. Fillmore wrote "The Twelve Powers of Man" to explain, metaphysically, these human faculties and the process of regeneration as taught by Jesus the Christ. This is one of Fillmore's most profound books as it challenges the serious metaphysical student as well as those seeking in-depth understanding of mind, body, and spirit.
The Metaphysical Bible Dictionary by Charles Fillmore
This one of a kind book contains the esoteric meanings of names, people, places and key words found in the Bible. The ideas presented in this reference book are based on the teaching of Jesus the Christ and are presented on a cross-denominational format. It is a reference to both the Old and New Testaments.
