Silent Prayer Ministry - Puts its faith in God and is here for you. Feel free to call on us for prayer whenever a need arises. All requests are strictly confidential.
Prosperity Resources
Faith Banks - We encourage you to use a Faith Bank to nurture your prosperity consciousness. Pick one up in the narthex by the front door and bring it back on the last Sunday of the month.
Pastoral Services
Spiritual Counseling - Available by appointment with our Minister, Dona Gilsdorf, on a love offering basis.
Hospital Visitation - Please call us if you or a loved one is in need of our love and support during a challenging time. Even though church affiliation is indicated when someone is hospitalized the local hospitals often do not inform us.
Bookroom

Our bookroom, Positive Pages, carries a variety of books, magazines, pamphlets and other media of uplifting and metaphysical works. Perhaps you're not as prosperous as you wish? Perhaps you should ponder a bit of Ponder at Positive Pages? That's Reverend Catherine Ponder, of course, whose works on prosperity are primary resources for those who would know spiritual law and its effect on fortune. Or check out works by Unity's founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, on subjects such as healing, prosperity, metaphysics, and the science of prayer. Positive Pages carries many other works and authors.
So, stop by Positive Pages on your way out after service or during church office hours.
Lending Library

Lending Library - Our adult and children's Lending Libraries contain many books, videos, and cassette tapes available for your use any time that the church is open. All items may be checked out. Details are posted in the libraries.

During the year 2010 the Sunday school will spend half of their lesson learning about the 12 powers. Each lesson will also include a meditation for the power for the month. During January the power is Faith, during February it is Love. The 12 powers help us to grow spiritually.
On February 14 we will have a Valentine’s party where we will decorate cookies and make Valentine cards. We are looking forward to a wonderful fun-filled 2010 with lots of opportunities for growth and learning.
Youth of Unity (YOU)
Sponsor Phil DeVone
Y.O.U. Rochester Chapter had an abundant year in 2009 and looks forward to expanding into this New Year. Last year our chapter attended two Great Lakes Region Y.O.U. events (June Rally and Fall Retreat) with the help and support of our congregation. With the success of the can and bottle drive, Rent-A-Teen and pasta and movie fundraisers, we were able to finance these ventures. We’ve already conducted community service activities with spring and fall soup and spruce, as well as four visits to assist the Salvation Army. All of these experiences have helped us grow as a small group in both spiritual understanding and togetherness.
Speaking of growth, Y.O.U. Rochester is happy to announce our new additions. Kaelan Donovan has moved onward from the Sunday School class to Uniteens which is partnered with our Y.O.U. classroom/events. Taylor Walton has graduated from Uniteens into the Y.O.U. program. We are honored with a new member, Jacob Rogers, as well as two new adult chaperones Ray DeVone and Hilda Blanco. Our family keeps developing in new and interesting ways. We’re very excited about this year.
Look for us to take on community service programs every month. We also have fundraising activities such as winter Rent-A-Teen. Our new sponsorship team is definitely taking our graduating Y.O.U.er Cody Reeves along with new Y.O.U.er Taylor to June Rally. We look forward to serving the Unity movement and being conduits of God’s perfect love as we learn, laugh and grow. With special thanks to Danielle Boes and Theresa Bieniek for the support.
Love and thanks all.
