BURNING BOWL SERVICE

We started our new year with a powerful, symbolic Sunday Service by releasing the limitations of the past and entering freshly into newness.
Our burning bowl, Stan the Can, awaits his big moment of the year before the service.

Candle Lighting Service
Sunday, December 20, 5:00 PM
The service started with a Christmas concert by the Unity Singers, including special solos and a duet.

Dona went through the Christmas story and the lighting of the twelve candles representing elements such as the Star, the Wise Men, Jesus, Joseph, Mary, and several more with affirmations for each.

From the glow of a single candle in the sanctuary, the room became aglow with the warmth of Spirit as each person lights their own candle from their neighbors and then passes the light on.
The sanctuary lit only by candles.

Teddy bears have been on parade in our sanctuary. Thank you for your bringing in the bears. Through the generosity of our congregation, 43 stuffed animals have been filled with love and passed on to their new friends at Baldwin House.
Christmas Community Outreach
This year we collected items for HAVEN. Haven provides help for families in crisis due to domestic violence or sexual abuse.
Thank you for the generous donations in this Christmas season.
